TasteBot Terms & Conditions

These Terms govern your access to and use of the TasteBot mobile application and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Who we are

2. Eligibility

You must be 13 years or older and able to form a binding contract.

3. Account & security

You are responsible for your account and all activity under it. Keep your details accurate and notify us of unauthorized use.

4. Sign-in methods

Email + verification code (magic link/code) and OAuth (Apple/Google).

5. Subscriptions & payments

The Service may offer free and paid options. If purchased via Apple or Google, billing/renewals are handled by that platform (their refund policies apply). If purchased via Stripe (if offered), Stripe processes payments on our behalf (refund policy communicated at purchase). Manage/cancel: use your Apple App Store / Google Play account settings; for Stripe (if offered), manage in-app or contact support.

6. AI-generated content & accuracy

AI results may be imperfect (including nutrition) and are informational only. We are not a medical, nutritional, or safety advisor. Verify ingredients, allergens, temps, and nutrition.

7. Your content & rights

You own recipes/content you generate. You grant TasteBot a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, reproduce, display, and modify your content solely to operate and improve the Service (saving, variations, sharing links, functionality/safety).

8. Acceptable use

No unlawful use, rights infringement, reverse engineering (except as permitted by law), scraping/bots, security interference, or bypassing usage limits.

9. Intellectual property

The Service (excluding your generated content) and related IP are owned by TasteBot and its licensors.

10. Privacy

Your use is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

11. Third-party services

We integrate with Apple/Google sign-in, Supabase, OpenAI, Mailgun, Stripe. Their terms/privacy may apply.

12. Service changes

We may modify or discontinue features at any time.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND.

14. Limitation of liability

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) US $100 OR (B) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO TASTEBOT (IF ANY) IN THE 12 MONTHS PRIOR TO THE CLAIM. NO INDIRECT, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES.

15. Governing law & venue

Texas, USA, without regard to conflict of law principles. Courts in Texas have exclusive jurisdiction.

16. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend/terminate for violations or discontinuation. Sections that should survive will survive.

17. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be reasonably noticed. Continued use is acceptance.
